Computer Engineering is concerned with theoretical and engineering aspects of computer architecture, system and application software, computer networks, internet technology & applications. Adequate emphasis is also given to programming, algorithm design & analysis, formal languages and automata theory, theoretical computer science.
Computer engineers are involved in all aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers and super computers to the integration of computer system into other kinds of system. Computer engineering tasks include writing embedded software for real time applications, working with stand-alone applications as well as web applications. Today the computer engineers have to develop mobile apps such as android programming, blackberry apps, etc.
